During our Maximized Living Makeover’s we explain how easy and FAST it is to cook a good healthy meal. Here’s an example of a quick meal that the whole family will love. Not only can you control the ingredients and flavor, you don’t have to worry about what is in those taco seasoning packets that you add to your meat.
- 1 lbgreen/grass fed ground beef or ground turkey
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp cumin
- ½ onion, grated
- 2 tsp oregano
- Greens + ‘fixins’ (I’d add lettuce, shredded green/grass fed cheddar cheese, cilantro, tomatoes and avocados)
Brown the ground beef and add the onion when almost done. Add the rest of the ingredients. You may need to add a small amount of water for consistency.
Serve as taco salad over greens with tomatoes, avocado, black beans, raw cheese, etc.
Option (core plan only, not advanced plan approved): Serve in sprouted grain tortillas or Gluten-Free tortillas.
