Pumpkin Protein Shake A Smashing Good Life ~ Sounds Yummy!

A Smashing Good Life

It’s still 100 degrees here in Las Vegas, but it’s finally Fall! This is my favorite time of year. I can’t wait to break out the boots and scarves. Until then I’ll enjoy my Iced Soy Pumpkin Spiced Lattes from Starbucks (isn’t it about time they get almond milk, geesh!), Leaves scented candles from Bath & Body Works, and this amazing shake. I made this today after my leg workout and it is delicious!

1/2 Cup Canned Pumpkin

1  Cup Almond Milk (Or whatever you prefer soy, coconut,milk)

1/2 Organic Banana

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Sprinkle in Cinnamon & Nutmeg

Ice & Blend.

I topped mine with Ground Flax. You could substitute Flax Oil. I also added Glutamine to help my muscles recover from my leg workout!
